Thailand’s Singha Estate has won Best Leisure Development Award for its CROSSROADS project, the first multi-island integrated leisure and entertainment mega project in the Maldives.
The award was presented at the recently-held Japan International Property Awards (JIPA) 2018. “The CROSSROADS Maldives is the biggest development by Singha Estate to date. Set to open in 2019 at Emboodhoo Lagoon, the project will be the first integrated lifestyle destination and not-to-be-missed attraction in the Republic of Maldives. We are very proud to win the first-ever awards for the project and hope there will be many more to come,” Naris Cheyklin, CEO of Singha Estate, was quoted in a statement, as saying. Southeast Asia’s best developers and projects were awarded at The Japan International Property Awards (JIPA), organised by Japanese real estate marketplace PropertyAccess.co. This year’s event marked a total of 29 entries from Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Maldives, Indonesia, Cambodia, and the Philippines. Maldives’ strategic location on the Maritime Silk Road, bridging the East and West, inspired the name CROSSROADS. It depicts ‘where cultures meet’ as various cultures have crossed paths here. |
