One of the best Maldives romantic getaways near Male Coco Bodu Hithi is thrilled to welcome a first visiting sushi chef, award-winning Chef Pepi Anevski this March. Originally from Macedonia, Chef Pepi won first place at the World Sushi Cup 2013 in Tokyo and is renowned as the world’s most creative sushi master. He has specialised in classic Japanese sushi in Chiba, Japan under the tutelage of Mr Masayoshi Kazato. A certified sushi head chef with more than 20 years of experience, Chef Pepi holds certifications from the World Sushi Skill Institute and the All-Japan Sushi Association (AJSA).

In 2019, he opened Sushi Rebellion in Mälmo, Sweden, with the intention of serving high quality sushi with a rebellious touch in a casual, urban environment. The restaurant was recently voted as one of the Top 10 Best Sushi Restaurants in Sweden.

“What I bring to the table is a solid understanding of cultural differences, a strong track record of working cross functional, and understanding of the whole value chain from raw product to the customer’s plate”, says Chef Pepi.

Since 2012, Coco Bodu Hithi has opened its doors to guest chefs, but Chef Pepi marks the first sushi maestro to helm the kitchens of Tsuki. He will enchant guests with two extraordinary dinners on March 31st and April 1st . Additionally, he will offer two exclusive experiences, showcasing dishes that blend the Maldives' vibrant flavors with traditional Japanese and East Asian elements. An uncrowded infinity swimming pool and a large selection of activities, including scuba diving and snorkeling in the lagoon. Despite all these facilities, guests - especially at night - tend to seek privacy in a private getaway, possibly with a bottle from Wine Loft.

Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu is a quiet place in the Maldives where you will find luxury, beauty and privacy at reasonable prices. The resort very well takes care of its environment and creates guests all for a 5-star beach experience in tropical paradise. Dhuni Kolhu is ahead of other hotels in its category by quality, design and amenities. This is a top class, but a simple, laid-back package of key Maldives elements - diving, snorkeling, beach, island and accommodation. Half a mile from tip to tip, a private island of medium size is populated with 98 villas. Snorkeling and scuba diving is awesome amd the guests can freely walk between two restaurants, SPA and sports grounds, using shady paths entwining the lush jungle. The removal of the island takes 30 minutes by seaplane from Male airport. Snorkeling and scuba diving is awesome and the resort offers a number of fun tours, but there is no pool on the island.
