OBLU NATURE Helengeli

The Maldives iconic diving and snorkeling paradise, OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO reopened on 21 December 2023 with an enticing, all-new vibrant look with stunning water villas, beach villas enhanced with private pools, and a speciality restaurant – Raga Route after a comprehensive renovation. Naladhu Private Island Maldives

In Dec 2021 Naladhu Private Island Maldives reopened its doors with a new look after a complete redesign by New York-based designer Yuji Yamazaki. The public areas and all 20 Houses at the resort were refurbished during a six-month closure. Among the updates, the resort’s top suite, the Two Bedroom Beach Pool Residence, now has a 68-foot private beach.

Additionally, the island’s restaurant, bar, wine cellar and gym have been transformed and the new Coconut Grove offers a secluded area for private experiences such as cinema under the stars or private yoga and fitness classes. The resort also has a new spa treatment area with a double treatment room with a private bathing and changing area.

In Dec 2021 SAii Lagoon Maldives – Curio Collection by Hilton has introduced their new Beach Pool Villa accommodation type. Located near Male airport is just across the footbridge at The Marina @ CROSSROADS, the Beach Pool Villas at SAii Lagoon Maldives is designed with custom made furnishing for those who are seeking serenity and comfort on their Maldives getaway. In 2022 SAii Lagoon Maldives announced resort transformation, soft refurbishment, & enhancements.

Fushifaru Maldives re-opened a new water villas to stay. Being able to accommodate more guests on its luxury secluded island, the resort has added 14 new water villas for its accommodation options.

Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives has officially welcomed its first guests to the resort after the full refurbishment on 16 December 2019.

At the end of 2019 Angsana Velavaru Maldives, part of Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts’ Collection of Private Island Resorts, completed a multi-million dollar renovation and expansion by enhancing the product offering of this iconic resort.

In 2019, COMO Cocoa Island underwent a major transformative renovation as part of COMO’s ongoing commitment to an award-winning reputation. Under the careful eye of Singapore-based Lekker Architects, the resort was reimagined: adding private pools to both the One-Bedroom Water Villas and COMO Water Villas, creating a new airy Pilates studio, adding a two-floor gym and yoga centre, and completely redesigning the interior of every villa.

In 2023 The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo resort has introduced private pools to all of the resort’s overwater and beach villas. This development is a response to increased demand from guests for luxurious accommodation with private facilities.
