If you like snorkel or scuba dive it’s the best place in the Maldives to visit. If you are not a diver the house reef snorkelling is incredible and worth a lot of time on the island. In finding amazing marine life and new adventures expect to snorkel at least twice a day. It is truly an amazing experience.

There are two main reefs and it really is like being in an aquarium (absolutely stunning). Given the state of most coral reefs in the world today, you'll very surprised at quality of the drop off, just metres from the beach, the length of the reef, and the diversity of the fish life including sharks, rays and turtles, and the fact at least 50% of the coral is still alive near the top of the sea level. The house reef near Meeru bar is jaw dropping, and there’s a whole sea life happening at your foot step.

During the Manta Ray season the reef of Dhonakulhi Channel is often full of mantas. The site is accessible for divers and snorkelers so everyone gets to experience manta mania.

However the diving is very good too. There are over 28 incredible dive sites within 60 minutes of the resort by 'Dhoni', the traditional Maldivian boat. But the most of diving sites are not far from the resort with an incredible dive experience and any other dive boats nearby.

The wine list included is extensive and includes some very good wine. The waiting staff is freindly and attentive - along with a great atmosphere favorable to meal time.

With care, discretion and generosity, an expansive and daily changing buffet breakfast is served at Matheefaru restaurant in spectacular setting. Order a fruit you would like, or choose some delectable chapatis and rotis to go with the incredible Maldivan Tuna and chopped red onions. Breakfast has every fruit juice you can imagine and for extra special mood, indulge yourself free flow Tattinger. The chocolate croissants will make a lovely finishing course to breakfast to go with the made to order coffees.

After day activities, lunch at Meeru bar is a must. Top picks from the menu - White wine seafood risotto, Chicken Tacos, Corn on the Cob, Parma Ham & Rocket Pizza with garlic, onion, peppers and parmesan. At night you get some very talented singers and musicians playing at Meeru. Sip a drink from one of the largest whisky and fine champagne collections in the Maldives.
