This place is really something special, from the moment you arrival in Male to waving goodbye. It all starts with a warm & professional welcome at the Velana International Airport, you are taken care by the resort's team at the new TMA Finolhu lounge waiting for sea plane departure. Expect a great facilities, snacks and drinks, as well as an ability to shower whilst you're there. The seaplane itself is a real experience with an unique view of the Maldives.

Even if the hotel is more than half full it never felt crowded, there’s so much space to enjoy. The island's centrepiece being the really large infinity pool, fantastic cabanas and a quiet beach to soak the sun. The beach beds are very comfortable and towels are easy to access. The pool bar is a great place to cool down with crafted cocktails, especially daiquiris! There is buggy service to escort you from your villa to the main part of the island but we recommend walking way to take in the beautiful views of the island.

Expect to spent quite a lot of time on the beach, get the sand in between your toes and enjoy the fresh breeze! Cover by fine sands all the beaches are beautiful, very clean, an absolutely stunning, and the sand bar walk to the Crab shack is just amazing. There's no better place in which to enjoy a sundowner. The water is a colour you can't explain, the snorkelling is fantastic, especially out at the edge of the reef where it drops away, and every day different with new experiences.

A truly amazing, you will love your accommodation, as all villas bright, clean and spacious, overlooked the ocean or lagoon with the most incredible shades of blue, or a private stretch of white sands.

Ocean Pool villa has a large open plan bedroom with huge glass windows looking out onto the turquoise lagoon, tastefully decorated with a large credenza with huge selection of beers, spirits wines, cold drinks, snacks and chocolates along with coffee and tea making facilities. There is a huge bed overlooking the ocean with a beautiful bathroom adjacent with double sinks and bathtub and rainfall shower leading to a huge outdoor shower area. Double doors lead to a large deck with seats sofas and steps down into the crystal clear water. The decking area has a lovely bench and rocking chairs along side two very comfortable sun loungers and parasol. Right on your doorstep reef sharks, rays and colorful fishes. If you're lucky you will see dolphins in the distance. Be sure to enjoy a floating breakfast. The amount of food you get is incredible! All Ocean Pool Villas enjoy incredible sunsets over the Indian Ocean.

The restaurants and food are exceptional, you will spoiled at Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives. We recommend a premium all inclusive package as it gives you extended use of the ala carte restaurants, improved premium drinks availability and greater menu options.

You cannot overlook breakfast and the friendly welcome from the staff each morning along with your perfect omelette made for the best start to the day. The buffet is incredible, the food along with the theme nights are delicious and just so much variety. There are chef stations where some dishes can be made at your request. There is something for everyone!
What is really beneficial is they have prompts at the buffet and on any of the A'La Carte menus re: GF (gluten free) etc so you don't have to second guess the dishes. Arabian Grill has a Middle Eastern/African approach to their menu. What's great about Arabian Grill is it's positioned on the beach meaning you can watch fire shows and on Maldivian night, you get your own performance from the dancers. Kanusan is out of this world. If you like Asian inspired cuisine, this is the place for you. Crab Shack is amazing, beautiful spot, amazing food (the crab cakes and lobster with French fries are highly recommended) and good music. The restaurant hots a white party on a Friday so we would recommend booking dinner for this night and enjoy a gorgeous meal at sunset!
