EARTH HOUR AT KURAMATHI

As a resort dedicated to sustainability and the protection of our planet, we were thrilled to be a part of Earth Hour on March 26th, 2023.

During Earth Hour, we turned off non-essential lighting throughout the resort and encouraged our guests to do the same in their rooms. Guests observed Earth Hour attuning to nature by witnessing the brilliance of the night sky.

NEW FOOD PICKS AT KURAMATHI

An overwater restaurant known for its palatable renditions of fresh seafood, The Reef introduces new recipes that take a page from Japanese cuisine.

Under starters is Dynamite Mussels, an oven-baked New Zealand green lip mussel stuffed with spicy dynamite sauce and garnished with tobiko (flying fish roe) and spring onion. Joining the list of main dishes is the Chirashizushi, rice topped with raw salmon and tuna seasoned with soya sauce, wasabi caviar & wakame.

At Inguru, diners are regaled with playful cross-overs of cuisines featuring its latest fusion dishes, such as the Inguru Summer Salad and Octopus,

Italian-style marinated baby octopus served in a bed of herbs and garden greens, chorizo, avocado cream and drizzled in mango-citrus vinaigrette.

Defying conventions are entrees such as Steamed Maldivian Reef Fish steeped in coconut sauce which is reminiscent of the Brazilian moqueca or fish stew, Roasted Indian Tikka-style Marinated Reef Fish Fillet fired up with a side of Malaysian sambal, Crispy Duck Leg Confit in Khao Soy sauce and the Seafood Udon Noodle Paella Style.

KURAMATHI SPA LOYALTY PROGRAM

Kuramathi Maldives introduces a Spa Loyalty Program to reward our loyal customers. This program offers our guest discounts and complimentary treatments when they purchase multiple spa treatments.

The program offers three tiers, each with its own set of rewards. Choose 4 treatments of minimum 60-minutes, and receive 50% discount on the 4th treatment. Alternatively, choose 6 treatments of minimum 60-minutes, and the 6th treatment will be on us. Finally, guests who purchase seven treatments of 90-minutes will receive two 60-minutes relaxation massages on complimentary basis. Discounts will apply to the lowest price treatment from the guest's selection.

SNORKEL SAFARI

Now that you have explored the stunning house reef, what's next? One of the most popular activities at Kuramathi is the Snorkel Safari.

This adventure excursion involves exploring vibrant coral reefs and swimming alongside a variety of marine creatures. It is led by experienced guides taking guests on a short boat ride to the best snorkel spots outside the perimeters of the island. Before plunging into the water our guides will demonstrate a safety briefing.

During the snorkel safari, one can expect to see a multitude of marine life such as colourful fish, turtles, rays, and even sharks. The guides will point out interesting features of the reef and help you identify the different species you encounter.

Anyone is welcome to join the trip as long as they have prior experience of snorkelling and are comfortable swimming in deep waters.
