Madifushi Private Island wins Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2024

Newly opened Maldives resort Madifushi Private Island has been awarded the prestigious title of “Best New Hotel: Asia, Africa, Middle East & Oceania” at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2024. This marks a significant achievement for the resort, which has only been open since January 2023.

The Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence are recognized as one of the most prestigious awards in the luxury hospitality industry. The awards are voted for by an independent panel of experts, who consider factors such as the quality of the accommodations, the service, the dining experience, and the overall ambiance of the resort.

Encircled by the crystalline waters of the Indian Ocean, Madifushi Private Island Maldives in the Meemu Atoll is a serene sanctuary where guests are invited to indulge in unapologetic relaxation. To keep energy levels high for a busy day on/in the sea, the resort’s six food and beverage outlets provide a variety of flavours from around the world such as seafood feasts under a canopy of stars and romantic beachside dinners of international dishes inspired by Italy, India, the Mediterranean and Asia from morning to night at Bluefin. The fine-dining Fahrenheit dinners are a grilled affair where slow-cooked beef and seafood are presented on hot stones. Stones are also used at Mandara Spa in a range of massages, all inspired by ancient Asian techniques, which are perfectly complemented by time spent in the dry and wet saunas.
