Rohit Pandey joins Anantara Jaipur Hotel as new General Manager

Global hospitality group Minor Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Rohit Pandey as General Manager of Anantara Jaipur Hotel, a new-build hotel set to launch later this year as the luxury brand’s debut in India. Rohit brings over 20 years of experience to lead the first Anantara in India.

Rohit’s career spans more than two decades, working for brands such as Marriott International, Centara Hotels & Resorts, Dusit Thani Hotels & Resorts, One & Only Resorts, Aman Resorts, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Taj Hotels and Minor Hotels’ Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas and Avani Hotels & Resorts. A seasoned pre-opening hotelier, Rohit has held various food and beverage and operations roles at hotels and resorts in India, the Maldives, Seychelles and Thailand.

At Minor Hotels, Rohit will lead the launch and positioning of the group’s first Anantara in India, working alongside Amir Golbarg, Senior Vice President – Middle East, Africa and India, and Vijay Krishnan Vazhvelil, Vice President – Operations, India.

Situated along India’s Golden Triangle tourist circuit, Anantara Jaipur Hotel will feature 150 luxurious guest rooms and suites. The hotel is set to become a premier destination for weddings and celebrations, with its indoor and outdoor venues accommodating up to 2,500 guests. The property will feature an assortment of dining options, such as a specialty Indian fine-dining restaurant, a rooftop bar and restaurant with stunning views of the surrounding landscape, an all-day dining eatery and a bar lounge and terrace. After exploring Jaipur’s several UNESCO World Heritage sites, guests can enjoy the hotel’s extensive leisure facilities, including a full-service Anantara Spa, beauty salon, fitness centre, semi-outdoor pool and a kids’ club.

Ammarawadee Cheowit appointed General Manager of NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort

Ammarawadee Cheowit joins NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort, the first NH Hotel brand in Thailand and Asia as the General Manager. Situated on the east coast of Phuket, within the vibrant Boat Lagoon, Phuket’s first full-service marina just 20 minutes of Phuket Town, the resort boasts 271 rooms and suites.

Amma brings over 13 years of hotel management experience to her new role, having effectively led teams in various hotel types, including boutique hotels and luxury properties, across Thailand’s prime tourist destinations such as Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Phuket, and Hua Hin.

NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort feature a mix of rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, lobby café, swimming pool with a bar, gym, tennis court and a kids’ club. The resort also caters to the MICE market, offering extensive meeting and event facilities, including a 1,000-square-metre marquee or large events, a business centre and ample on-site parking. For long-stay guests, the Boat Lagoon marina offers a range of local shops and conveniences, as well as restaurants and entertainment facilities including an ice-skating rink.
