Brand NEW for 2019 she brings a class of her own to the Maldivian waters. Emperor Explorer is a contemporary, spacious liveaboard where fine accommodation and service is standard. This 42 metre boat easily accommodates 26 guests in 13 well-appointed ensuite cabins all with air-con. Add to that her Spa, spacious diving and relaxation areas and she's a winner.
The ship completed its maiden charter from August 11-18, with a stunning itinerary featuring some of the best dive sites of the Maldives, including North and South Ari, North and South Male, Rasdhoo, and Vaavu.
The vessel, built over an eight-month period, is a partnership between Explorer Ventures and Emperor Divers.
Divers can enjoy open-air dining area at the stern of the main deck. Several sofas and tables await you inside the air-conditioned saloon for relaxing or watching TV. A complimentary glass of wine is served with dinner.
The upper deck boasts a covered, open area ideal for watching photos and footage from your diving or just relaxing, star gazing and soaking up the wonderful Maldivian ambience. The sundeck is perfect for catching those sun-rays or taking a nap.
All diving is done from Emperor Explorer’s large dhoni (tender), giving you more living space on board and getting you to the perfect dive spot every time. She offers free NITROX, all diving and safety equipment, as well as four dive guides.
The MV Emperor Explorer is set to be one of the premier liveaboards in the Maldives, exploring the best dive sites in the area.

Liveaboards in The Maldives
Welcome to one of the most appealing and dreamed-of dive destinations in the whole wide world. If you’re an avid scuba diver, the Maldives and it’s 1,192 islands is paradise. While scuba diving is popular all over the Maldives, one of the best ways to discover this exciting marine life is by hopping on a liveaboard.
Diving in the Maldives by liveaboard offers the best in many must-have tropical SCUBA experiences. Deserted, white sand islands peep up out of the ocean by only two meters, stretching seamlessly into an underwater paradise of wildlife nourished by the Indian Monsoon current. The Maldives' crystal clear waters are home to mantas, whale sharks, and reef sharks, not to mention the brilliant flatworms and ghost pipefish who hide among its wrecks, coral gardens, channels, and pinnacles. Maldives liveaboards offer itineraries encompassing the world-class dive sites of North Male Atoll, Ari Atoll, Baa Atoll, Hanifaru Bay, Rasdhoo and many more, including remote atolls in the far north and south where you'd be hard-pressed to see another liveaboards.
