At Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences, continual improvement is in our DNA; a commitment of the “New Amilla” to keep improving and transforming. The next step in our journey is to revitalise our Sunset Water Pool Villas.
This will be done in three stages between May 10th and June 30th. There will be limited availability on the Sunset Water Pool Villas during these dates (a six-week period in total).
The majority of the work will involve laying new timber and conducting maintenance on the wooden jetty to ensure our guests can enjoy barefoot, splinter-free luxury, from their villa to the beach. The interiors of the room will also be refreshed with a lick of paint and all the wooden surfaces will be refinished.
We have scheduled the upgrades to minimise the impact on guests, similar to the works completed last year on the Reef and Lagoon Villas, which had very little effect on our guests. As we are ‘The Island of Surprises’, we will give our guests some additional special treats during this period.
If you have booked any guests into a Sunset Water Pool Villa during this time period, we will be happy to offer them a free upgrade to a Reef or Lagoon Pool Villa for the entirety of their holiday.

Amilla Fushi

Featuring more flexible approach to tropical island luxury, Amilla Fushi offers a luxurious 'island home' for both couples and families in the Maldives. Family villas have been designed to ensure that both the parent’s and children’s bedrooms are in the same building. The villas are very spacious, and unlike many two bedroom options you might find elsewhere, the second bedrooms are large and so also work very well for families with older children. The Sultan's Village kids’ club at Amilla Fushi is terrific – all palm tree swings, finger painting and beach games – teens can play billiards and X-Box, and all childcare, including baby-sitting, is complimentary. There is also a children's pool and beach club close by if parents wish to relax in close proximity to the Kids Club.
