The Coco elves are hard at work tobring Coco Collection’ 2022/2023 Festive programme to life this Christmas!
We’ll be kicking off the festivities with the annual lighting of the Christmas Tree at Coco Bodu Hithi and Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, followed by a glittering schedule of music, food, drinks, and of course, some festive cheer.
At Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, guests can take part in our mixology class to learn how to whip up their own drinks or join their fellow guests on an underwater treasure hunt to discover some hidden gems. Every evening, guests stand the chance to win some amazing prizes by taking part in our raffle, while karaoke nights and DJ parties will keep the celebrations going late into the evening.
Over at Coco Bodu Hithi, guests can dust off their racquets and try their hand in our tennis tournaments, imbibe sundowners with the live DJ, and play beach games under the sun. Meanwhile fishing trips, sunset cruises, yoga sessions, and amazing deals at the Coco Spa are sure to help you find moments of calm during this bustling period.
At both resorts, our Kids’ Club will be open every day to keep the little ones entertained. From chilled-out movie afternoons to ‘dress like a pirate’ days to pizza making classes, there’s something different for everyone to enjoy.
The festive season is always a time when our culinary teams at the resorts truly shine. Experience a myriad of flavours and cuisines every evening with a different themed dinner at the main restaurants, whether it’s Asian fusion or Mediterranean favourites.
Of course, the festive season would not be complete without our annual Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve Gala Dinners, with sumptuous feasts, music, sparkling entertainment, and incredible prizes. This year, Coco Bodu Hithi will be hosting a magnificent masquerade ball on New Year’s Eve, so don’t forget to bring along your glamorous and mysterious persona to the evening!

Cao’s Yoga Hour
Enjoy a calming yoga session with Cao, our resident yogi at Coco Bodu Hithi, and either kick-start your morning at dawn or wind down the day at sunset.
Sailing Bistro
Our floating bar at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu is ready to whisk you away for an evening of drinks aboard a traditional dhoni as you watch the sunset.
Coco High Tea
Savour our signature twist on a classic English High Tea as you watch the sunset on the beach at Coco Bodu Hithi
Santa’s Arrival
As always Santa Claus arrives a day early on Christmas Eve at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, bearing gifts and treats for all the little ones.
New Year’s Eve Masquerade Gala Dinner
Bring your masks and dancing shoes to our Masquerade Gala! The culinary team at Coco Bodu Hithi will be preparing a grand buffet to celebrate the end of the year, as our live band and dance troupe bring the entertainment.
Desert Island Cocktail Party
Be cast away to our deserted private island of Embudhoo, just a few minutes away from Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, for a chilled-out cocktail party on the beach.

Coco Collection
Coco Collection runs two islands — Coco Bodu Hithi and Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu that make up the Coco Collection brand.
Luxurious and contemporary, with superb private pool villas and an idyllic overwater spa - Coco Bodu Hithi, the flagship property in Coco Collection’s portfolio, is a chic retreat where you reconnect with yourself, your loved ones and the wonder of the natural world. Translating island life into contemporary sophistication, the resort, which is accessible by a 40-minute speedboat ride from the main Velana International Airport, offers 100 villas that are surrounded by the calm view of the lagoon and the soothing sound of the waves. There are seven chic restaurants, two open air cocktail bars, extensive thatched overwater Coco Spa and a fitness center (with ocean views!). An uncrowded infinity swimming pool and a large selection of activities, including scuba diving and snorkeling in the lagoon. Despite all these facilities, guests - especially at night - tend to seek privacy in a private getaway, possibly with a bottle from Wine Loft.

Half a mile from tip to tip, a private island of medium size is populated with 98 villas. Snorkeling and scuba diving is awesome amd the guests can freely walk between two restaurants, SPA and sports grounds, using shady paths entwining the lush jungle. The removal of the island takes 30 minutes by seaplane from Male airport. Snorkeling and scuba diving is awesome and the resort offers a number of fun tours, but there is no pool on the island.
