Fushifaru Maldives successfully organized an Old and New Countdown Party to mark the beginning of the year, featuring an enchanting evening with an outstanding performance by Anna Skylar, our guest of honour. Anna is a renowned opera singer, founder of Sklyar Production, and a celebrated participant of The Voice. The evening was further elevated by the beats of DJ Ethan, creating the perfect atmosphere to usher in the New Year and celebrate the incredible moments of 2024.
As we prepare to bid farewell to 2024, we would like to take a moment to reflect on what has been an extraordinary year for Fushifaru Maldives. This year has been marked by remarkable milestones, significant achievements, and countless unforgettable memories, all of which the resort's team has been privileged to share with you, the cherished guests.

This year, Fushifaru was honoured with several prestigious awards, cementing its position as a leader in luxury hospitality in the Maldives. Among the accolades, we proudly received the LUXE Global Awards for Best Luxury Boutique Resort and Best Authentic Experience Hotel. Our iconic Raakani Fine Dining Restaurant was recognised as the Best Luxury Beachside Restaurant, while Heylhi Spa garnered wins for Best Luxury Resort Spa and Best Luxury Private Island Spa. Additionally, the resort was celebrated by Condé Nast Traveller, receiving recognition in the Readers’ Choice Awards as one of the top resorts in the Indian Ocean. These achievements are a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering extraordinary guest experiences.

From the much-anticipated ‘Super 7’ Anniversary wellness event hosted by Train with Kai to the vibrant festive celebrations, 2024 has been a year of remarkable gatherings. A commitment to sustainability
In line with the resort's dedication to preserving the natural beauty of the Maldives, 2024 saw the launch of several eco-friendly initiatives. From a successful Plastic Aa Nulaa event in Hulhumale partnered with Ooredoo, promoting the reduction of single-use plastics, to the island's continued marine conservation programmes. Fushifaru's efforts aim to protect the environment for future generations. We’re grateful for the support of our guests and team in making these initiatives successful.
