As world approach the final months of the year, we're thrilled to share with you the many exciting celebrations Fushifaru Maldives has planned. From the Super 7 Anniversary to Halloween, and, of course, the much-anticipated Christmas and New Year’s festivities, Fushifaru preparing a wonderful line-up of activities, events, and entertainment.
Alongside these festivities, the resort remain steadfast in our commitment to both the community and the environment. I’m excited to share that we recently organised a Coral Planting and Lagoon Clean-Up event, where our guests and residents united to help protect our lagoon and promote coral reef growth. This initiative highlights Fushifaru's dedication to preserving the stunning marine ecosystem surrounding the island.
Additionally, the resort has successfully completed a CSR cleaning project on Hinnavaru, a neighbouring island, as part of an ongoing Plastic Aa Nulaa initiative. During this project, we also distributed more Plastic Aa Nulaa bags, encouraging the reduction of single-use plastics and fostering a cleaner, greener future.
In addition, we are celebrating Housekeeping Week here at Fushifaru—a time dedicated to honouring our incredible housekeeping team. To express our gratitude for their tireless work, we have arranged a series of special activities, including a management breakfast, a cooking competition, movie nights, a fun-filled bed-making competition, and an awards night to recognise their contributions. Our housekeeping team truly are the unsung heroes who ensure every stay is exceptional.
Manta Rays have arrived early!
We are delighted to announce the early arrival of manta rays this season, adding an extra touch of magic to our island paradise. Guests have already witnessed these graceful creatures gliding through the Thila just outside the island, offering a rare and mesmerising snorkelling experience. The early sightings provide a unique opportunity for visitors to experience the beauty of manta rays up close, making this the perfect time to explore the vibrant marine life that surrounds Fushifaru. Fushifaru is set to celebrate its 7th anniversary on October 24th with a vibrant "Super 7" theme centred around wellness. This exciting programme will be hosted by local talent, Train with Kai, an expert on fitness and wellbeing in The Maldives. This milestone will be marked by a special three-day programme filled with fun and fitness, designed to rejuvenate both body and mind.
The "Super 7" celebration, taking place from October 21st to 23rd, promises an immersive wellness experience, blending physical activities with mindful relaxation. Each day begins with energising sunrise sessions on the pristine beach, where guests can partake in yoga, meditation, or Pilates, enhanced by refreshing pre-workout shots like lemon-ginger, turmeric-orange, and apple-ginger-celery blends.

We recently wrapped up International Housekeeping Week at Fushifaru Maldives, honoring our dedicated housekeeping team with a week of exciting activities. The celebrations included a Management Breakfast, a Photo Shoot at Bar Beach, a friendly Football Match, creative Bed Decoration & Sand Art Competitions, and a Movie Night Under the Stars. The week ended with a fun-filled Cooking Competition and Awards Ceremony, recognizing the hard work and dedication of our team.
