Maldives revokes a state of public health emergency and eases COVID-19 restrictions on March 14, 2022. The pre-arrival PCR test is no longer required for all passengers arriving in the Maldives. However, all arriving and departing passengers must complete the Traveler Health Declaration Form within 48 hours of the flight time. "PARADISE. ABSOLUTE PARADISE. We do not have a bad thing to say about Veligandu. This was our first time in the Maldives and it has everything you expect the Maldives to be. We came for our honeymoon & anniversary (honeymoon was cancelled last year due to COVID so postponed by a year) they really pulled out all the stops when we arrived to welcome us to our honeymoon and also on our anniversary.

This resort is so peaceful and I have never felt more relaxed after a holiday. It was worth the wait.

We stayed in the sunset over water villas and they had amazing views of the sunset and we enjoyed spending evenings on our decking or in the Jacuzzi.

Special shout out to Nabeel who was out island host - we booked all our day trips with him and he was available by what’s app & to Mahmood for cleaning our room twice a day and decorating our bed on our arrival of the honeymoon and anniversary. Also to the guy who took us snorkelling to see Manta Rays & Turtles and the sunset dolphin trip. Everyone we met was always happy to help and there is plenty of variation in the buffet food. The woman who worked in the spa were amazing, we really enjoyed the his and her body massage, and the atmosphere of the spa was amazing. They also have a la carte options and beach dining if you fancy something different. We will be returning to Veligandu in the future."
