November 19, 2022, is marked as International Men’s Day and brings a great occasion to treat the gentlemen in your life. To celebrate, Veligandu had planned the finest culinary adventure in the idyllic Veligandu Island ambience.

We have prepared a thrilling Festive Program to set the right mood for the festive at your secluded Island. Veligandu has a choice of outdoor land sports our guests and the team members enjoy alike. The Island also boast strong sportsmanship, and loves playing football with guests. Among the recognition for this month was winning the local Tekkers Resort Cup 2022 Futsal Tournament. The Veligandu futsal team’s determination, hard work, and love for futsal have led us to win the title of champions in North Ari Atoll Zone and Runner-up in Ari Atoll Zone. We are tremendously proud and accolade our futsal team for the achieved milestone.

Planning to visit Veligandu before renovations? We have an array of special events planned for you to relish an everlasting vacation in Veligandu before the island closure for renovation. A week of romance-filled affairs in February, a sustainability-affiliated week in March, a special Easter Fun week in April, and a Farewell Week to the current Veligandu era in May are upcoming events guests can look forward to. We will also reveal the Special Closure Event Brochure through our website and social media platforms by the end in November 2022. We will miss you for 1.5 years when the resort closes for renovation. Henceforth, we shall hope to welcome you before we bid Veligandu’s current era adieu.
