7X7 celebrations!

From the 9th to the 12th October 2022, Hotel Asia International Culinary Challenge took place concurrently adjacent to the Exhibition, with the endorsement from the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (World chefs - WACS). The four days gastronomical-fest hosted over 700 competitors and 70 resorts competing from across the Maldives.

Reethi Beach Resort took part in 7 categories and proudly brought home 7 medals at this year’s event, under the guidance of our Executive Chef Farish Mukhthar. The culinary team from Reethi Beach showcased exemplary skills and their passion towards forging flavorful cuisines that are assured to enhance our guests gastronomical experiences, here at the property.

02 October 2022, 27 recipients have been conferred the newly launched Maldives Tourism Awards. President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih launched the Maldives Tourism Awards at the official ceremony held to mark the first National Tourism Day of Maldives, at Dharubaaruge.

Reethi Beach Resort was awarded for ‘Promoting Local Performers Award’ at this year’s ceremony. We are grateful to all our guests, staff and management for empowering local talents across the Maldives, as part of our Maldivian hospitality.

Reethi Beach Resort hosts visiting Chef Salvatore de Rinaldi

Once again for the second consecutive year, Reethi Beach Resort welcomes Salvatore de Rinaldi, owner of ‘de Rinaldi’ in Naples, Italy, and master of teaching at the AVPN – the True Neapolitan Pizza Association, for a gastronomical journey for its guests.

Salvatore will be staying at the iconic 4* Reethi Beach Resort in Baa Atoll from 21st November until 29th November 2022 and during this stay, he will be showcasing the traditional art of making Neapolitan Pizza at the resorts’ restaurant ‘Reethi Grill’ on several evenings.
