Condé Nast Traveller launches holiday competition with a prize: Five nights at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru, an idyllic island getaway in the Indian Ocean, plus flights.
The winner and a guest will spend five nights in an Oceanview Pool Villa at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru in the North Malé Atoll in the Maldives.
The island-inspired interiors of the private villa open onto a secluded terrace, pool and hot tub. Steps from the private garden lead right down onto the beach.
At the hotel, the prize-winner and their guest will be able to explore the the island’s extraordinary house reefs and spot turtles, stingrays and tropical fish, try their hand at stand-up paddle boarding or kayaking around the shoreline, or just relax on the white-sand beaches. Rooted in Banyan Tree Group’s founding sustainability ethos, Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru has received international recognition for its eco efforts. It opened the first resort-based marine lab with resident marine biologists in the Maldives, where guests can visit and participate in reef protection activities.
Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru has two sister properties in the Maldives, Angsana Ihuru and Angsana Velavaru. The prizewinner and their guest can travel by boat to explore Angsana Ihuru and the famed Ranamaari shipwreck, or by seaplane to Angsana Velavaru in the untouched South Nilandhe Atoll.
Return international flights for two and speedboat transfers are included in the prize.
