What's Hot, What's New, What's Fun in Amilla Maldives this month
Maldives Hotels and Travel Guide
05 October, 2022
As one half of the hemisphere cools down, Amilla Maldives is heating things up with our upcoming Festival of Life. It’s set to take place during October and November and will showcase a variety of thrilling spectacles and events on our beautiful island. If you haven’t already secured your villa, reach out to your favourite travel agent or BOOK DIRECT with us.
Year End Offer: Half Board on us!
We understand the difficulties being faced by many around the world right now, so we designed a special offer to help anyone wanting to squeeze in a holiday at Amilla before the end of 2022. If you book an over-water villa for stays between November 10th and December 23rd, we’ll give you a complimentary upgrade from Bed & Breakfast to Half Board, plus a discount if you want to upgrade to our Dine Around Inclusive meal plan.
Food, Glorious Food
Just a little reminder that we offer one of the most comprehensive inclusive meal plans in the Maldives! Did you know that not only does it include champagne and other selected premium beverages, but also discounts on all other beverages; so you never pay full price for your drinks. It gives you access to all our restaurants, including eight different evening dinner experiences over seven days.
A customised in-villa bar is set up prior to your arrival. And we even throw in In-Villa Dining once per day, so you can make the most of your spacious private retreat.
On top of all that, you get 20% off all spa treatments and house excursions, plus a special 20% off “Dine by Design” experiences. All this means no surprises on your final bill, and TOTAL relaxation.
Worldwide Kids Certification
In September we welcomed Worldwide Kids to Amilla. These kiddie vacay experts trained all our Kids Club team and babysitters on best practices and first aid, as well as inspiring them with new ideas for even more fun and games for our smallest VIPs.
Amilla’s shiny new lounge at the new seaplane terminal is opening very soon. This luxurious private lounge (exclusively for Amilla guests) will feature comfortable spaces to relax while you wait for your seaplane. It also will include an area with refreshments and a play zone for kids.
We’re thrilled to announce that Amilla will soon become even more sustainable, after signing an agreement with Swimsol to install solar panels in our back-of-house area. We’ll start putting our discreet new solar panels up in January. They’ll provide a direct feed of solar energy from our staff area into all our generators to contribute towards powering the whole island. This will significantly reduce the amount of diesel that all resorts in the Maldives require for operations due to their remote locations.
Final bits of news from our Maldivian island - our beautiful Javvu Spa was awarded Number 4 in Asia by Travel + Leisure. Adjacent to the spa is our new Strength Studio, where we’ve just added some brand-spanking new equipment. And since we’re all about keeping you happy from top to toe, good news for feet! We’ve finished replacing the wood on all our jetties, so you’ll be able to stroll around barefoot with no chance of any splinters.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Naturally Lush Private Island Resort again soon, with love from the whole Amilla Family.Check Availability and Prices
Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences
Best Experience: Family, Couples, Groups, Dining, Diving, Spa
Featuring more flexible approach to tropical island luxury, Amilla Fushi offers a luxurious 'island home' for both couples and families in the Maldives. Younger, hipper, with a fresh and contemporary accomodation, the resort has so much to offer, from high design and inventive dining options, to stylish villas and amazing snorkelling and diving. Located in the Baa atoll, UNESCO Biosphere reserve, this might just be the most family friendly resort in the Maldives. Family villas have been designed to ensure that both the parent’s and children’s bedrooms are in the same building. The villas are very spacious, and unlike many two bedroom options you might find elsewhere, the second bedrooms are large and so also work very well for families with older children. The Sultan's Village kids’ club at Amilla Fushi is terrific – all palm tree swings, finger painting and beach games – teens can play billiards and X-Box, and all childcare, including baby-sitting, is complimentary. There is also a children's pool and beach club close by if parents wish to relax in close proximity to the Kids Club. In 2018, Amilla Fushi has been recognised as the leading family resort in Maldives. Read Full Review
