Ennismore announces Maldives debut with opening Mondrian Maldives resort

Ennismore has announced the upcoming Mondrian Maldives, set to open on Kuredhivaru Island next year. Surrounded by stunning beaches and turquoise waters the resort will be situated on a private island in the Noonu Atoll, just a 45-minute seaplane flight from Male International Airport.

Before to reimagine into Mondrian Maldives, the property will operate as Kuredhivaru Resort & Spa under Ennismore’s management.

Previously part of the Mövenpick family, the resort remains available for booking on ALL.com and will continue its association with Accor’s loyalty program, ALL. This transformation highlights Ennismore’s and the owner’s commitment to enhancing the island’s hospitality offering under the Mondrian brand.

Always delivering on creativity with a progressive, forward-thinking approach, Mondrian Maldives will reveal itself through a series of dream-like spaces inspired by the worlds of modern design, art, and culture.

The sleek aesthetic extends to the resort’s 105 villas, which include 30 beach pool villas cradled in lush greenery, 72 overwater pool villas with endless views of the surrounding turquoise waters, and three-bedroom beach pool residences offering direct access to the island’s white-sand beaches.

Rooted in art, design and culture, groundbreaking interiors, immersive art installations, and inventive culinary experiences are hallmarks of a Mondrian. Every villa has a private pool, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the pristine sanctuary of this tropical oasis.
