Made in Chelsea cast jet Off to Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort

The new year began in sun, sea and style for the Made in Chelsea cast as they jetted off to Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort in January to film the latest series of the hit UK reality show.

What could happen in Made in Chelsea season 29? Based on the trailer, it's "immaculate vibes all around", and lots of your favourite cast members are back, but this is Made in Chelsea so there is plenty of drama that lies ahead. There are some new faces joining the mix, and it includes the group jetting off to the Maldives. The trailer ensured not to reveal too much, but it did include plenty of glares, accusations of being fake and wandering eyes to another man's girlfriend! Channel 4 has promised it will bring “lust, lies and plenty of drama”.

As well as at home in Chelsea, the cast are whisked off to the Maldives. The SW3 elites find themselves basking on the white sand beaches for an extended holiday before returning to the royal borough. But it’s not all sunshine, snorkelling and sipping cocktails, as before long closely kept secrets, simmering crushes and old grudges collide with shocking showdowns. It’s going to be chaotic.

It’s previously been reported the Maldives trip caused a bit of external tension in the group, as some members of the cast were invited to film there and others weren’t. Notable cast members, including Ruby Adler, Sam Prince, Reza Amiri-Garroussi, Freddy Knatchbull and Lauren Sintes, are amongst those appearing in first three episodes of Made in Chelsea series 29 set at the five-star resort. One of the new cast members is Jack Taylor’s new girlfriend, Livvy, and another is Sam Vanderpump’s new girlfriend, Alice. Made in Chelsea starts its first 2025 series from Monday 31st March, at 9pm on E4.

The group made the most of the magical Maldives location with wellness and water sports by day, followed by DJs and dancing on the white sand beaches at night.
